Plan Details
Included Calls - The value amount of calls included in your plan as part your monthly fee. Once the Included Calls value is reached excess calls are charged at the stated rate for the plan.
National Calls - Unless otherwise stated National Calls are charged on a per minute basis, with no connection fee at the stated National Call rate for the plan.
Mobile Calls - Unless otherwise stated Mobile calls are charged on a per minute basis, with no connection fee at the stated Mobile Call rate for the plan.
Minimum Usage - The amount of call minutes you must use per month to be eligible for the selected plan.
Where your monthly call minutes are less than the stated minimum for your plan you will be charged at the plans stated National Call rate for each minute you are below the minimum monthly call minutes. The formula used to calculate this amount is: ((minimum monthly call minutes) - (actual monthly call minutes)) x (National Call rate for plan)
International Calls - Unless otherwise stated International calls are charged on a per minute basis (in 60 second increments), with no connection fee at the stated International Call rate for the plan.

SOHO Plan - To qualify for the SOHO VoIP plan your business must have an ABN and be trading as a sole trader or a partnership.
Business Plan - To qualify for the Business VoIP plan your business must have an ABN.
Multi Site Plan - To qualify for the Multi Site VoIP plan your business must have an ABN and have 2 or more sites or VoIP services with VoIPex.
Customer Service Guarantee Waiver
VoIPex provides the SOHO, Business and Multi Site VoIP services as Type 2 VoIP Out (a service where calls can be made from the VoIP network to the PSTN) VoIP services as described by the Australian Communications and Media Authority. As such we require that customers waive various rights that are specified in the Telecommunications Act, namely the Customer Service Guarantee (CSG). If you choose not to waive your CSG protectons and rights, Voipex Pty Limited reserves the right not to provide you with a service.
Emergency Service Calls
Please note that your VoIP Out service cannot be used to make an emergency call (Triple Zero). Please ensure you have access to a landline (i.e. fixed) or mobile phone service to dial emergency services.
Service Access Requirements
VoIPex Voice over IP services require that you the customer have the following:
- Broadband Internet Service - VoIPex recommends that a dedicated Broadband Internet Service with minimum download and upload speeds of 128 killobits per second be used for the underlying carriage service for your VoIP Service. Please note that if the Broadband Internet Service is not provided by VoIPex we cannot guarantee the quality of calls of your Voice over IP service, or that you will be able to connect to the VoIPex Voice over IP network. Please be aware that if you share your Broadband Internet Service with other users or devices the quality of calls made using your Voice over IP service may be affected.
- Voice over IP Access Equipment - VoIPex recommends that you the customer use a G.729 standard compliant Voice over IP Access device or software. Please note that if the Voice Over IP access device or access software is not listed as a supported access device or access software, then VoIPex cannot guarantee the quality of calls of your Voice over IP service, or that you will be able to connect to the VoIPex Voice over IP network.
